Google launches Gemini-powered autofill to suggest data from Gmail

Google began rolling out enhanced autofill improvements in the United States on 28 October. The browser will use Gemini with Personal Intelligence to provide information suggestions sourced directly from Gmail.
Users can now retrieve specific data points such as a recent purchase order number, a shipment's tracking number, or travel details including hotel reservations and flight booking numbers. Desktop, Android, and iOS versions of the browser will offer these improvements through Gemini in Chrome for those who have Personal Intelligence enabled.
Last year, the standard autofill feature already included names, passport numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses pulled from Google Wallet and Google Accounts. Sensitive data remains encrypted while it is presented as a suggestion during the completion of a form.
Chrome settings provide a way for users to manage what the enhanced autofill can access or to disable the feature entirely.
