Pakistan seeks to mediate tensions between Iran and United States

Pakistan is maintaining diplomatic initiatives to reduce friction between the United States and Iran. The country is actively advocating for peace and stability throughout the region.
Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh stated that the effects of conflict are currently impacting regional economies, trade, and public life. Sheikh noted that Pakistan's economy is currently confronting multiple challenges.
Trade disruptions with India and Afghanistan have already occurred. Restoring trade routes with regional countries, including Iran, is a priority for Pakistan, according to Sheikh.
The protection of holy sites such as Madinah Munawwarah and Makkah Mukarramah is a shared responsibility of the entire Muslim Ummah, Sheikh said. Repeat tests are being conducted to verify hepatitis cases in Chiniot.
Sheikh suggested that the spread of diseases could be linked to inadequate access to clean drinking water. During a medical camp in the Khokhran Wala area of Chiniot, Sheikh spoke to the media.
