Sardar Masood Khan calls for UN-led resolution of Kashmir dispute

Sardar Masood Khan spoke at a seminar hosted by the Institute of Kashmir Studies at the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The Kashmir dispute must be resolved in accordance with United Nations Security Council resolutions to ensure the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people, Khan said.
Pakistan remains committed to the implementation of relevant United Nations resolutions, Khan stated during the event. October 27 marks Kashmir Black Day, a date commemorating the arrival of Indian forces in Jammu and Kashmir on 27 October 1947.
Muslims faced displacement and violence in Jammu during that 1947 period. India took unilateral actions on 5 August 2019, which preceded a military escalation between Pakistan and India in 2025.
