Kevin Delaney to lead digital content and subscriptions at NBC News

NBC News appointed Kevin Delaney as the head of digital content and subscription starting 16 November 2026. Delaney will report to both Catherine Kim and Sat Brainch in his new capacity.
The news organization hired the veteran journalist who co-founded the media outlet Quartz. He also co-founded Charter, a company that was later acquired by the San Francisco Standard.
Delaney previously served as the editor in chief of the San Francisco Standard. Senior editorial positions at The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Information also feature in his professional history.
Montreal served as the starting point for his career as a TV producer.
