First winter snowfall blankets Galiyat hills as thousands of tourists arrive

Thousands of tourists from the plains traveled to the Galiyat hills, with many domestic visitors heading to Nathiagali following snowfall forecasts from the Meteorological Department. Visitors arrived from across Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to experience the weather.
Hotel owners, restaurant operators, horse riders, photographers, transporters, and shopkeepers reported a surge in business during the period. Professor Dr Naveed Farooq urged the district administration to monitor commodity prices and hotel tariffs while ensuring sufficient parking facilities.
Professor Dr Naveed Farooq said, "The chairlift ride at Ayubia takes tourists to a new height of thrill and excitement." Farooq noted that every hill station has its own attraction, mentioning that the floating clouds at Babusar Top were equally mesmerising.
