BISE Rawalpindi launches automated online marking system for examinations

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi transitioned to an automated online marking system on 28 October. Prof. Dr. Iqbal Mahmood confirmed the rollout of the new technology.
Candidate e-sheets and high-speed digital answer booklet scanning are core features of the online marking platform. QR codes will be used to verify the presence of both invigilation staff and candidates.
A Command and Control System will monitor examination centers through real-time video surveillance. Paper setting, trimming, printing, and scanning are now linked directly to a central digital dashboard.
Mock drills were conducted with college principals, examination controllers, and education officers across the division. District-level training sessions for teaching faculty will begin immediately.
