Health Services Academy hosts PinkTober panel on breast cancer awareness

The Health Services Academy organised a PinkTober panel discussion on 28 October to promote breast cancer awareness and early detection. Junaid Sarfraz and Samina Naeem both provided insights during the session regarding the necessity of increasing public knowledge about the disease.
Speakers highlighted how identifying early warning signs and encouraging women to obtain timely medical advice are critical steps. Early detection is essential for enhancing treatment results and lowering the risk of complications that arise from late diagnoses.
Misconceptions and social stigma often prevent women from accessing necessary screenings and medical care. Attendees discussed the importance of regular screenings, obtaining reliable medical data, and consulting with qualified healthcare professionals.
