Chaudhry urges opposition to join peace and electoral reform talks

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry called on opposition parties to convene and deliberate on Pakistan's peace, prosperity, and development on Wednesday. Speaking to a private television channel in Islamabad, Chaudhry invited the opposition to join the committee tasked with reforming elections.
He stated that incorporating the opposition's proposals would facilitate free, fair, and transparent voting across the nation. Regarding provincial security, Chaudhry explained that imposing an emergency or governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was intended to restore peace and eliminate terrorism.
