The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) will suspend electricity in parts of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Jhelum on Sunday, November 8. According to a shutdown schedule shared by IESCO, some areas will be without power for up to 10 hours.

The company stated that most 11kV feeders will be turned off from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for annual maintenance, construction and development work, and grid transformer upkeep. IESCO apologized for the inconvenience and requested cooperation from consumers. This maintenance program also resulted in power cuts across the region on November 7 and November 4.
