Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan Nasir stated on November 7 that education serves as the cornerstone for national progress, prosperity, and economic stability. Speaking in Islamabad, Nasir stressed that the country must nurture young talent by providing opportunities for skills development and knowledge.
He identified educated and talented youth as the "true architects" of Pakistan’s national development and bright future. Nasir expressed these views while presenting the first-ever degree from Alhamd Islamic University to Rubab Tabassum, offering her congratulations and best wishes for her future.
During the ceremony, Nasir also congratulated the President of Alhamd Islamic University, Prof Dr Shakeel Roshan, along with the university administration, faculty, and staff, for reaching a significant academic milestone. He praised the institution's efforts to promote quality education, noting that such schools prepare young people to face future challenges and contribute to the nation.
Nasir observed that Pakistan’s youth have immense creative potential and competence. He emphasized that they require greater access to modern knowledge, quality education, and practical training to become valuable assets on both national and international levels.
Regarding government action, Nasir said the government is focusing on reforms and initiatives to improve the education system and increase literacy rates. He argued that cooperation between public and private educational institutions is essential to meet these goals. He called for an enabling environment and equal opportunities so that every young person can progress based on their abilities.
The Deputy Chairman further stated that national interests must take precedence over political differences for the country to prosper. He called for a shared vision and coordinated strategies to improve literacy, expressing a resolve that positive initiatives by both public and private institutions should continue to be encouraged to strengthen Pakistan’s future.
