Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry inaugurated the reconstructed Rawal Road and Band Khanna Road on Friday. During the ceremony, Chaudhry emphasized that the government is prioritizing the improvement of urban infrastructure.
Chaudhry stated that the construction of the Gangal to Expressway Link Road would also be completed soon to enhance connectivity and traffic flow throughout the district. He noted that the governments led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif are currently pursuing development projects in municipal infrastructure, education, and healthcare across Rawalpindi.
The Parliamentary Secretary acknowledged the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s armed forces to defend the country’s security and sovereignty under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir. He asserted that national unity and security are matters of collective responsibility.
Chaudhry further stated that the government would not tolerate attempts to destabilize the country or incidents such as the May 9 violence. He concluded by saying he will continue to advocate for public welfare, public relief, and infrastructure development at legislative forums.
