Meta is rolling out a new feature called Spaces for its Muse AI, which enables users to create an app within an app. According to a post by Muse on November 6, 2026, the tool builds customized, interactive experiences based on simple text descriptions. Users can create various app-like tools, including school dashboards, music trackers, trivia games, and shopping hubs, without writing any code.

The Muse account states that Spaces can connect to external services such as Notion, OpenTable, Google Calendar, and Gmail. Once these are linked, Muse can continuously retrieve information in the background to automatically update details like dates and prices. Users can interact with these Spaces by editing information, adding notes, and checking off tasks directly within the interface.

Meta also provides options for users to customize the placement of Spaces within the Muse app. Users can pin them to tabs, keep them in a sidebar, or schedule when specific Spaces appear. For example, users can display a weekly planner during workdays and replace it with weekend plans on Saturday.

Additionally, Meta announced it is bringing Active Memory and Active Focus capabilities from its Muse Wonder AI model to both the Meta AI chatbot and the Muse app. Active Memory will help Muse recognize when information from previous conversations becomes relevant, while Active Focus will improve its ability to work toward specific goals.

While Meta is currently rolling out Spaces to all Muse users, the company is also exploring options that would allow users to share their Spaces with others and collaborate on them.
