Nick Cave is returning to North America in the spring of 2027 for a 25-date tour titled “Conversations With Nick Cave: An Evening of Talk and Music.” The tour serves as a follow-up to his 2019 run of the same name and marks his first time touring with a combination of audience Q&As and solo music in eight years.
The tour is scheduled to begin on April 9, 2027, at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre and will conclude on May 21 at New Orleans’ Saenger Theatre. During the six-week period, Cave has scheduled two-night stands in Seattle (April 13-14), San Francisco (April 16-17), Los Angeles (April 20-21), Toronto (April 29-30), Boston (May 4-5), and Brooklyn (May 7-8).
The remaining dates include single appearances in Portland, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Montreal, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Asheville, Atlanta, Nashville, and Memphis.
The shows are described as “a mixture of unvetted audience questions and intimate performances of Cave’s extensive catalog at the piano.” In a statement, Cave explained that his previous tour was a "strange, almost desperate idea" that became "deeply healing" for him. He noted that because "The Red Hand Files have grown in reach and stature" and the topics of conversation have broadened, it feels like the right time to return to a "different America from eight years ago." Cave added, “I’ll have my piano with me, play some songs, and answer questions. What could possibly go wrong?”
A pre-sale for the tour begins November 11 at 10 a.m. local time for 24 hours, with registration for access available. The general on-sale is set for November 13 at 10 a.m. local time.
