Jisoo, the singer and actor known for her work with the K-pop group Blackpink, has signed a deal with the talent agency WME for worldwide representation. The move comes as the artist focuses on building her solo music career.
The signing follows a period of significant commercial success for Jisoo. Last week, she released “Addicted,” a moody dance-pop song about being powerless against attraction. The track reached the top of the iTunes Top Songs charts in 28 regions and took the lead on the iTunes Worldwide Songs chart. This release follows her pre-album single “Click,” a pop track about two people from different backgrounds finding each other.
Jisoo has maintained a busy schedule throughout 2026. Earlier this year, she finished Blackpink’s Deadline World Tour, which sold out stadiums in Asia, Europe, and North America. Her other 2026 projects include headlining the Netflix rom-com series “Boyfriend on Demand,” which debuted in March, and making her first appearance at the Met Gala in May. She also participated in brand collaborations with Pokémon and Off-White.
Her solo career began in 2023 with the debut EP “Me.” The record set a South Korean benchmark as the first record by a female soloist there to top 1 million in sales. The breakout single “Flower” reached No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 1 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. The music video for “Flower” also recorded the largest 24-hour audience for any K-pop video released that year.
In 2025, Jisoo released the mini album “Amortage,” which included the tracks “Earthquake” and “Your Love.” The previous year, she released “Eyes Closed” as a collaboration with Zayn. That track became her second solo release to reach the Top 10 of Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, while also peaking at No. 20 on the Global 200 and 72 on the Hot 100.
WME’s music division currently represents several high-profile artists, including Adele, Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Olivia Rodrigo, Rihanna, Shakira, and The Weeknd.
