Cristian Mungiu’s Palme d’Or winner "Fjord" won the Jakarta World Cinema Audience Award, which was the only feature prize of the event. The film also served as the festival's opening selection.
The festival concluded with a screening of the Thai horror film "Inherit," directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun. During the Indonesian premiere, Pisanthanakun and star Davika Hoorne participated in a Q&A session. Pisanthanakun stated that Hoorne’s wardrobe cost a fortune, specifically mentioning a Gucci dress worth THB3 million ($89,500).

The competition, which was run by the Indonesian streaming platform that powers the festival, received more than 300 submissions from across Indonesia between April and July. The jury included horror director Joko Anwar ("Impetigore"), writer-director Gina S. Noer ("Two Blue Stripes"), and Khozy Rizal, whose short "Basri & Salma in a Never-Ending Comedy" was in competition at Cannes.
