Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, along with his delegation, will participate in the sixth Hajj Conference and Exhibition, scheduled to be held in Jeddah from November 8 to 11 under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Organized by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in cooperation with the Pilgrim Experience Program, the conference will bring together more than 520 government, private and nonprofit entities, with participation from over 150 countries. The event serves as an international platform bringing together leaders, officials, Hajj affairs offices, service providers, and specialists to discuss the development of the Hajj services ecosystem and showcase solutions and initiatives that enhance readiness and service quality.
During the visit, the federal minister will also attend a meeting of heads of Hajj affairs offices with Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah to discuss arrangements for the 1448 AH Hajj season and strengthen coordination with Saudi authorities. The meeting aims to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims’ Hajj journey, improve the services available to them and finalize all arrangements and service contracts well in advance to ensure a smooth and comfortable pilgrimage experience, from arrival in Saudi Arabia to their return home.
Discussions at the conference will focus on three key areas: infrastructure and operational services, empowerment and integration, and sustainable development, with the aim of enhancing the pilgrim experience and improving services. Alongside the conference, a specialized exhibition showcasing the Hajj services ecosystem will span an area of more than 67,000 square meters. It will bring together entities and service providers in aviation, transportation, hospitality, healthcare, infrastructure, technology, innovation, workforce services, investment, and business development.
The sixth edition will also feature more than 15 main zones and programs, including the Hajj Conference, Hajj Council, Business Center, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Zone, Hackathon, and the inaugural Awareness and Training Forum, alongside the Technology, Health, Media, and Aviation Oases, among other zones and programs. The conference and exhibition programs will include specialized forums, panel discussions, roundtables, workshops, and business meetings, as well as platforms for launching initiatives, announcing agreements, and showcasing solutions and innovations. These activities will provide delegations and Hajj affairs offices with opportunities to explore cooperation with relevant entities and service providers and finalize a range of arrangements for the upcoming season.
Participation in the Hajj Conference and Exhibition reflects the country’s continued commitment, through its Hajj Affairs Office, to caring for its pilgrims, addressing their needs, and completing service arrangements and contracts at an early stage. It also underscores the importance of coordination with the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia to enhance readiness and ensure the provision of necessary services during the 1448 AH Hajj season.
