Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University observes Black Day for Jammu and Kashmir

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU) observed a Black Day on 27 October to show solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Professor Dr. Madad Ali Shah led a protest rally that moved from the Academic Block to the Administration Block.
Students, faculty members, and administrative staff joined the march while chanting slogans of Allah-o-Akbar. Speakers at the event highlighted 27 October 1947 as a pivotal moment when Indian troops entered Jammu and Kashmir.
The primary goal of the observation is to stand in unity with Kashmiris, advocate for their fundamental rights, and seek a peaceful resolution to the dispute. Participants called on the international community to protect human rights and play an effective role in implementing United Nations resolutions.
