Apple earned $57.58 billion in revenue from the iPhone during its fourth quarter, representing a 17 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

The company reported a 12 percent rise in total revenue, which reached $114.5 billion. The firm launched its iPhone 18 lineup in September, which featured a more expensive iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max model. Simultaneously, the company increased prices across its older models in September.

Apple also introduced its first folding phone, the iPhone Duo, and its first smart home display. The company released a series of door locks, security cameras, and video doorbells as part of a push into the smart home market. These smart home products were manufactured in collaboration with Schneider Electric and LG.

Last week, Apple also unveiled a MacBook Pro equipped with a touchscreen. The services division, which encompasses subscriptions to Apple Music and Apple TV alongside App Store commissions, grew to $31.57 billion. Mac business revenue rose 24 percent to reach $10.79 billion.

iPad revenue fell 10 percent year over year, totaling $6.23 billion in sales. Preorder sales for the iPhone Duo were excluded from the fourth-quarter earnings report.

Apple had only a “limited” number of iPhone Duos available in stores at the time of launch.

John Ternus said, “We saw higher memory costs as compared to the June quarter, and that was partly offset by the benefit of carrying inventory and lower costs on non-memory components.”
