RedMagic has officially launched the RedMagic 12 Pro in international markets.

The handset features a 6.85-inch BOE X11 OLED display with 1.5K resolution. The company claims the 185Hz refresh rate on the screen is an industry first. The display reaches 1,900 nits of global peak brightness and 5,000 nits of local peak brightness.

It supports up to 5,000Hz instantaneous touch sampling. The device measures 8.5mm thick and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The cooling fan area has a separate IPX8 rating.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, supported by the RedCore R5 gaming processor and G1 display chip. It includes a 25,500 RPM fan that produces up to 130kPa of pressure. The handset features 520Hz shoulder triggers and runs RedMagic OS 12 based on Android 17.

The camera system consists of a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a ninth-generation 16MP under-display selfie camera. The device packs an 8,400mAh battery, which is 12% larger than the 7,500mAh battery in the RedMagic 11 Pro. It supports 80W wired charging.

The Nightfreeze variant costs $949 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Other configurations include $1,049 for 16GB/512GB and $1,199 for 16GB/1TB. The highest-end configuration now offers 16GB of RAM instead of 24GB.

The Chinese version features 120W charging and 700Hz triggers, consuming as little as 20mW.
