The primary focus of the visit is on signing a five-year roadmap for trade and economic cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. This document will provide a comprehensive framework to expand bilateral trade, investment, connectivity, and economic collaboration over the next few years.
During the visit, a Business-to-Business Forum will be organised, with more than 100 Uzbek companies expected to participate. The forum aims to explore new investment, trade, and joint venture opportunities in Pakistan. Leading private-sector representatives from both countries are anticipated to attend these discussions.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of regional connectivity and trade facilitation. Proposals were presented by officials from the railways department, National Logistics Corporation (NLC), and the Ministry of Communications to enhance road and rail connectivity between the two nations.
