Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance Pakistan’s trade facilitation ecosystem. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the PSW Head Office in Islamabad, marking a significant step towards improving cross-border trade processes.
The agreement was formalized by Aftab Haider, CEO of PSW, and Dr Tariq Jadoon, Provost of LUMS. The collaboration will focus on capacity-building initiatives under the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Program for Probationary Assistant Collectors of Customs. This program aims to enhance knowledge and professional competencies in areas such as cross-border trade, digital trade facilitation, logistics, data governance, and other relevant domains.
Under the partnership, PSW and LUMS will jointly design and deliver executive education programs, technical trainings, seminars, and other professional development initiatives.
