The Weeknd has broken the record for the highest-grossing tour by a male artist in history. His “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour concluded with a final performance at TM Stadium National in Kuala Lumpur, reaching a final gross of over $1.3 billion.
Tour promoter Live Nation confirmed the tally, which ranks as the third-largest tour in history. It was surpassed only by Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour (over $2 billion) and Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” tour (over $1.5 billion). The Weeknd's achievement replaces the previous male artist record held by Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, which grossed over $939 million.
The finale concluded the Weeknd’s 17-date stadium tour across Asia this fall. Although the Asia leg was originally announced with 11 dates, it expanded to 17 shows, including four nights in Hong Kong, three nights in Bangkok, and multiple performances in every other market on the run.
Since beginning in July 2022, the “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour has spanned 176 shows across 30 countries, five continents, and 67 cities. The tour sold more than 9 million tickets as part of the $1.3 billion gross. The tour traveled through North America, Europe, the UK, Latin America, Australia, and Asia over four years, with the Weeknd returning for additional runs in nearly every territory. According to the announcement, the tour sold more than 3 million tickets and grossed over $500 million in 2026 alone.
Throughout the tour, the Weeknd continued his charity donations. To date, he has donated $8.5 million to the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen to support global hunger relief and access to quality education for children worldwide. In 2026 alone, $3 million was raised for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and Global Citizen. This year’s contributions to Global Citizen will support a new campaign focused on breaking down barriers facing women and girls in health, education and economic opportunity.
