Adam Levy’s syndicated program, “Adam’s Law,” has become the most-watched new series in its category for the 2026-2027 TV season, according to Nielsen data. During the week of October 19, the show reached a viewership high, drawing an average audience of 1.33 million. The program has maintained an average of 1.29 million viewers season to date.

Levy and his backer, CBS, are attempting to replace the daytime-TV staple “Judge Judy,” which aired for 25 years. Levy noted that he faced skepticism early on, stating that viewers were “being asked to simply tune in to my show because of who my mother was, because of who I was related to.” Levy said there were many people who were hesitant and believed the show was a gimmick.

After several weeks on the air, Levy hopes the audience is impressed by his approach. He focuses on investigating whether litigants have a history with the court or a record of making frivolous claims. Levy stated, “This is what judges should be doing. Judges should be holding people’s feet to the fire.” He believes the audience appreciates him holding people to account and argues that if judges “chastised lawyers when they came in and made what are outright, just complete lies,” there would be less frivolous litigation.

Levy’s legal background includes serving as a district attorney and assistant district attorney, as well as appearing as a judge on the Amazon Prime Video series, “Tribunal Justice.”

CBS is also monitoring Levy’s social media presence. To date, he has gained 321,000 followers on Instagram, 214,000 on Facebook, 33,000 on TikTok, and 30,000 on YouTube. Levy indicated he expects the show to continue for many years and expressed hope that his techniques might start a movement that results in better judges.
