Jen Affleck, a star of the Hulu series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” filed for divorce from her husband Zac Affleck on Tuesday. According to court documents obtained by People, the filing follows seven years of marriage.

The couple first met in 2018 and got engaged and married the following year. They have three children, Nora, Luca, and Penelope, and are currently expecting their fourth child.

The split was announced ahead of the November 12 premiere of the spin-off “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County,” which stars Jen. The couple moved from Utah to Orange County in recent years.

Jen has held a major role in the original series since its 2024 debut, appearing across all five seasons alongside cast members such as Taylor Frankie Paul, Whitney Leavitt, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, and Jessi Draper. Paul, Matthews, and Leavitt have since left the show.

Viewers have witnessed various financial and emotional marital issues between Jen and Zac on screen. During Season 1, a "now-infamous spat" was documented when Jen considered attending a Chippendales show with her “MomTok” co-stars during a cast trip to Las Vegas. During that incident, Zac reportedly threatened to divorce her among other "explosive claims."

Jen has also been vocal regarding Zac’s issues with gambling during the show's run. In August, while navigating her fourth pregnancy, Jen told People that “there’s a lot that we’ve been navigating behind closed doors.” She stated, “It’s been a lot the past couple of months, I’ll be honest. But I do feel like I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and just trying to count my blessings every single day.”

TMZ was the first to report the news.
