Kimmarie Johnson, an actress and model known for her roles in "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Dude, Where’s My Car?", died on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the age of 50.

Johnson suffered a "heart event" at her Los Angeles home on Oct. 27. Following the incident, she was transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where she was diagnosed with a "heart aneurysm condition."

Her niece, Rhonda Scott, released a statement to People describing Johnson as someone who "radiated a light so strong and bright." Scott added that people who knew her "felt nothing but positive energy" and stated the family will "continue to honor her life forever."

Born on April 8, 1976, in Pittsburgh, Penn., Johnson studied child psychology and elementary education at California University of Pennsylvania. She relocated to New York City to begin a modeling career, working with brands including Vidal Sassoon, Oscar de la Renta, and United Colors of Benetton.

Despite having no previous pageant experience, Johnson won the title of Miss Pennsylvania. She went on to place in the top five of the Miss USA 1993 competition.

In 1996, Johnson moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Her first major television role was on "Beverly Hills, 90210," and she appeared in the 2000 film "Dude, Where’s My Car?" as "Alien Jumpsuit Chick #5." Her other credits include "Carman: The Champion," "The Summer of Massacre," "VIP," and "Wanda at Large." In 2011, she launched her own beauty brand, SkinGlow by Kimmarie.
