Khawaja Saad Rafique calls ban on X ineffective, urges immediate removal

LAHORE: (Web Desk) Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has declared the ban on the social media platform “X” (formerly Twitter) as ineffective, calling for its immediate removal.

In a post on social media, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that the ban on X has been in place for a year, but it has not had any positive impact.

He added that everyone is still using X through VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), making the ban ineffective.

He further mentioned that the ban has only caused inconvenience for the public and proved to be an ineffective strategy.

Khawaja Saad Rafique urged the government to lift the ban so that the public can regain access to the social media platform.

It is important to note that the ban on X has been in effect in Pakistan for the past year, with strong protests from various political leaders and the public.
