Gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged on Saturday, with 24-karat gold holding at Rs. 429,136 per tola. This stability followed a sharp fall on Friday, where prices dropped by Rs. 6,500 per tola to reach the current level.

According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10-gram gold also saw no change, remaining at Rs. 367,914.

In the global market, gold prices mirrored the local calm, staying stable at $4,066 per ounce. However, silver moved in the opposite direction, with its price falling by Rs. 10 to Rs. 5,668 per tola.

ProPakistani previously tracked a volatile period for gold, which included an explosive spell followed by a crash, as well as a period where it gained Rs. 24,000 per tola.

For buyers, the price of one tola of 24-karat gold remains Rs. 6,500 cheaper than Friday morning’s level before the recent drop. At Saturday’s fixed rate, half a tola of 24-karat gold costs approximately Rs. 214,568, while two tolas cost about Rs. 858,272. The APGJSA rates are for pure 24-karat gold; jewelry buyers must also pay making charges on top of these prices.
