In a coordinated effort, ANF agents, along with their US and Sri Lankan counterparts, seized 200kg of methamphetamine from a container at Karachi Port, while another 471kg was recovered from Colombo Port.

The ANF stated that the methamphetamine, valued at $21 million, was concealed in bath towels and intended for international markets via Sri Lanka.

The operation, which involved Sri Lankan authorities and the DEA, resulted in the recovery of a significant amount of drugs, disrupting the network and preventing their distribution.

The ANF's successful operation highlights the effectiveness of international cooperation in combating drug trafficking and highlights the ongoing efforts to secure Pakistan's borders.

The ANF's press release emphasized the importance of intelligence sharing and joint operations in tackling drug networks, which have been a persistent challenge for law enforcement agencies.
