Anker has announced the Eufy Window Camera E10, an indoor security camera designed to monitor a home's yard, driveway, or front porch by looking through a window. The device takes a similar approach to the Wyze Window Cam, which launched nearly a year ago.

The E10 is installed directly against the inside of a window using an included mounting sticker intended to reduce glare and reflections. Because the camera remains indoors, it does not require weatherproofing. Anker states that installation can take less than a minute, though the device lacks a rechargeable battery, meaning users will have to deal with potentially routing and hiding a power cord.

The Eufy Window Camera E10 is available now for $79.99 through Amazon and Anker’s online store. This price point is more than twice as expensive as the $34.98 Wyze Window Cam.

The E10 includes several upgrades over the Wyze model. While Wyze is limited to 1080p, the E10 has a maximum resolution of 2.5K, capturing 15fps videos at 2,688 x 1,520. It also features a field of view of 105 degrees horizontal and 57 degrees vertical. To accommodate different installations, such as an upstairs window, the E10's camera angle can be manually adjusted up and down by 25 degrees using a wheel on the back.

Additional features of the E10 include color night vision and AI-powered motion detection and alerts that can differentiate between humans, animals, and vehicles. It also includes a microphone that is limited to louder noises due to its location. Footage can be recorded locally to a microSD card up to 256GB in size, or pushed to the cloud with an optional subscription.
