Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the opening of admissions for the Autumn 2026 semester specifically targeting international students. These programs cover fields like Computer Science, English, Urdu, Islamic Studies, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Sociology, International Relations, Psychology, Environmental Studies, Education, Business Administration, and Mass Communication.

For school-level students, AIOU has opened admissions in SSC General, SSC Science, Matric Open Courses, HSSC General, I.Com, and HSSC Open Courses. These programs are designed for international students who wish to continue their studies through distance and online learning. The university also offers Associate Degree programs in Arts, Education, Commerce, and Business Administration.

BS programs are available for students with Intermediate, Associate Degree, BA/BSc, or 14 years of education. Major BS programs include Computer Science, English, Urdu, Economics, Islamic Studies, Sociology, Psychology, Environmental Studies, International Relations, Accounting and Finance, and Mass Communication. Additionally, AIOU has opened admissions in BBA programs for students with Intermediate, BA/BSc, and Associate Degree backgrounds.

Teacher training programs are also available, including different B.Ed programs such as Elementary Teacher Education, Secondary Teacher Education, School Leadership and Management, and Special Education. The university is offering several postgraduate diploma programs like TEFL, Educational Leadership and Management, Educational Planning and Management, Early Childhood Education, Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, International Financial Reporting Standards, and Environmental Health & Safety.

Admissions are also open in MBA 1.5-year program for business graduates and a 2-year program for non-business graduates.
