President Donald Trump offered the position of White House press secretary to UFC President and CEO Dana White on Saturday. In a post on Truth Social, Trump described White as a "violent Fighter and Warrior" and urged him to accept the role, stating, "Dana, please take the job!"

Trump also requested that White bring a team of assistants to help "defend us against the Lunatic Left." The President specifically named Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris as individuals he wants involved, noting that some of them are not from our Country.

The move follows a period of rapid turnover in the White House press office. Katie Zacharia served as press secretary for only five days in October before being let go, marking the shortest tenure in the history of the position. Zacharia, who was 27 years old, was the youngest person to ever hold the role. She replaced Karoline Leavitt, who served from Jan. 20, 2025, through Aug. 27, when Leavitt stepped down to join Fox News Channel as a contributor.

While Trump's offer is public, it remains unclear if White has accepted the position or how serious the offer is. The President has considered other figures for the role recently; during an interview last week, he suggested that musician Nikki Minaj could be a "good idea" for the job, while also telling the interviewer they would be "pretty good, too."

UFC did not immediately respond to requests for comment regarding the offer.
