North Waziristan: Security forces attack convoy, 13 soldiers martyred, 14 Khawarjis killed
North Waziristan: Suicide attack on security forces convoy, 13 soldiers martyred, 14 Khawarjis return to hell
Indian-backed Khawarij terrorists carried out a suicide attack on a convoy of security forces in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing 13 brave soldiers.
According to ISPR, the suicide bomber rammed the ammo-laden vehicle into the front vehicle of the convoy. The detachment in front of the convoy partially foiled the enemy’s plan by timely action, but in desperation the attacker blew himself up.
Subedar Zahid Iqbal, Hawaldar Sohrab Khan, Hawaldar Mian Yousuf, Naik Khattab Shah, Lance Naik Ismail, Sepoy Rohail, Sepoy Muhammad Ramzan, Sepoy Nawab, Sepoy Zubair Ahmed, Sepoy Muhammad Sakhi, Sepoy Hashim Abbasi, Sepoy Muzarazi Ali. Two children and a woman were also seriously injured in the attack.
In retaliation, security forces killed 14 Khawarij in an exchange of fire. The sanitization operation is underway in the area.
According to the ISPR, the attack was carried out under the supervision and planning of India’s terrorist state policy, where the Khawarij sedition has external patronage.
