ECP sets hearing for PTI’s intra-party elections case

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has set the hearing for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) intra-party case for March 4.

The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued notices to PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar and Roof Hassan. It has also served notices to Akbar S. Babar and other petitioners, asking them to present their arguments.

PTI held intra-party elections in March 2024, which later faced complaints and objections. As a result, the Election Commission gave PTI time to submit a response.

Earlier, the PTI intra-party case was also scheduled for a hearing on February 11, but now the case will be heard again on March 4.

The case has raised issues regarding the internal elections of PTI, with objections raised by various party members.
