LPG prices in Pakistan fell by Rs. 30 to 40 per kg following a temporary resumption of supply from Iran. Between 8,000 and 9,000 tonnes of the loaded quantity are available, but this volume will satisfy national demand for only three days.

A further price reduction of Rs. 30 per kg is expected within the next two to three days. The senior vice chairman of the LPG Distribution Association stated that the risk of an LPG crisis this winter has not gone away.

The All Pakistan LPG Distribution Association proposed a six-month exemption from the Electronic Import Form requirement for LPG imports from Iran to the government. The association told Haroon Akhtar, an Adviser, that the old mechanism should be restored for six months to meet winter demand.

The All Pakistan LPG Distribution Association warned that LPG could reach Rs. 1,000 per kg in winter if supply from Iran is not restored. Cylinder prices may exceed Rs. 10,000 if the supply situation persists, the association claimed.

The Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2026 is scheduled to take place in Islamabad from 12 November to 13 November 2026. The government also announced the provision of 500,000 Chromebooks for students.
