ABHI Microfinance Bank has raised approximately Rs. 2.05 billion through the book-building portion of its initial public offering (IPO). According to a company announcement and Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) book-building data, demand for the shares exceeded the amount on offer.

The book-building tranche involved 99 million of the bank’s 132 million ordinary shares offered. These shares were set at a floor price of Rs. 15.00. PSX data indicated a strike price of Rs. 15.50, with bids received for approximately 157.17 million shares. This represents roughly 159 percent of the offer at the floor price and about 106 percent at the strike price.

The company stated that this book build marks Pakistan’s first fintech-led microfinance bank IPO. It reported that bids exceeded Rs. 2.4 billion, noting strong interest from high-net-worth investors, local institutions, and foreign funds.

The remaining 33 million shares are scheduled to be offered to the public at the strike price on November 12 and 13, 2026. ABHI previously stated that the full IPO could raise between Rs. 2 billion and Rs. 3 billion. The bank intends to use the proceeds to strengthen its capital base and expand its loan book.
