Gold prices in Pakistan have surged by Rs. 10,000 per tola on Wednesday, reaching Rs. 437,936 according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

This sudden increase comes after international gold prices rose by $100 to $4,155 per ounce.

On Tuesday, the price of gold had dropped by Rs. 500 from its previous day's rate.

Silver prices followed suit, with an increase of Rs. 273 per tola, reaching Rs. 6,624.

These fluctuations in precious metal prices can significantly impact consumers and businesses involved in the jewellery trade.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association is closely monitoring these changes and advises its members to adjust their inventory accordingly.

Experts suggest that such volatility could be influenced by global economic factors, including inflation rates and market sentiments.
