Gold prices in Pakistan have risen for the second consecutive day, reaching a new high of over Rs. 4.3 lac per tola on Friday. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price increase brought the cost of gold per tola up by Rs. 3,000 from the previous session.

The rise in local prices follows a similar trend internationally, where gold prices gained $30 to settle at $4,080 per ounce on Friday. This global uptick has contributed to the surge in domestic rates.

Additionally, silver prices also saw an increase of Rs. 79 to reach Rs. 6,294 per tola, reflecting a broader trend in precious metals markets.
