The decrease was also reflected in smaller units of gold; 10-gram gold saw a reduction of Rs3,944 and was sold at Rs366,457. This marked the second consecutive day of decline for gold prices, with Thursday's rate standing at Rs432,036 after a drop of Rs1,800.

Silver prices followed suit and experienced a decrease as well. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs61 to reach Rs6,309, reflecting the broader trend in precious metals markets.

These changes in gold and silver prices are likely to impact consumers and businesses that rely on these commodities for various purposes, including investment and jewellery making. Local traders and manufacturers may need to adjust their pricing strategies accordingly.

The APGJSA's observations suggest a correlation between the international market trends and local prices, indicating that global economic conditions continue to influence Pakistan’s precious metals market.
