IESCO Announces Electricity Suspension for Routine Maintenance

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a series of scheduled power outages for Tuesday, aimed at routine maintenance and development work in various parts of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, and Chakwal. The company is taking steps to ensure minimal disruption by scheduling the outages during specific hours.

In Islamabad Circle, IESCO will suspend electricity supply from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in several areas including Scheme II, Rehara, Mohra Noor, Shehzad Town, and Islamabad Club I feeders. This measure is part of the company’s routine maintenance schedule.

Similarly, Rawalpindi Cantt Circle will experience power outages from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in Jarar Camp, Bhall, Jatha Hathial, and Basali feeders. These areas are expected to face temporary inconvenience but IESCO assures that the electricity supply will be restored before the scheduled time if maintenance work is completed earlier.

Attock Circle will see a suspension from 6:00 am to 10:00 am on Fawara Chowk feeder, while in Chakwal Circle, the company will disconnect power from 6:00 am to 10:00 am to Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, CWO, and Katchary feeders. These areas are also part of IESCO’s routine maintenance activities.

In GSO Circle, IESCO will carry out maintenance work from 6:30 am to 10:30 am on Neela, Hassal, Balkassar, Kot Chaudhrian, Pipli, Dullaha, and Karsal. Additionally, the company will undertake work from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani Burhan lines, as well as from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132kV Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City Palandri, and 132kV New Wah Bahtermore lines. The surrounding earth switches will also be included in these maintenance activities.

IESCO has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the scheduled outages and assured that it will restore electricity before the scheduled time if maintenance work is completed earlier than expected. The company emphasizes its commitment to providing reliable power supply despite such temporary disruptions.
