Anduril and Qualcomm are collaborating on a new laptop line named BlueChip, scheduled for release in early 2027. The initial prototype features a ruggedised design powered by Arm-based Snapdragon X series chips.

Anduril's official press release states that the first BlueChip laptops will be designed and assembled within the United States. Assembly operations are planned for Anduril’s Arsenal-1 facility located in Ohio.

Display glass, the frame surrounding the display, and portions of the ribbon component are slated to be manufactured in America from the beginning. Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon stated that the company intends to manufacture the processors for this laptop at TSMC Arizona.

The US military represents the first potential customer for the BlueChip hardware. The prototype will support Windows or two undisclosed versions of Linux.

Palmer Luckey confirmed that BlueChip is funded entirely by Anduril and Qualcomm rather than government subsidies. Following the government and defense sectors, Anduril plans to target first responders and public safety agencies.

Luckey said, “I’d say the worst case here is that this is going to be a low volume laptop for critical industries and government needs that desperately need something like this to exist.”
