Sindh Government Services Hospital Karachi announced 35 government job vacancies in a recruitment advertisement published on 28 October. The hospital is inviting applications for 11 different positions ranging from BPS-01 to BPS-04.
Vacancies include Driver, Electrician, Dark Room Attendant, Lab Attendant, Operation Theatre Attendant, Dental Attendant, Aya/Dai, Ward Servant, Chowkidar, Naib Qasid, and Sanitary Worker. Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age to qualify for any of the advertised roles.
The recruitment drive offers 14 positions for Ward Servants, 5 for Sanitary Workers, 4 for Chowkidar, and 3 for Driver. Drivers must have passed middle school, hold a valid Light Transport Vehicle licence, and possess at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Electrician candidates require a Matric certificate and an Electrician Diploma from the Sindh Medical Faculty. Lab Attendant applicants must have completed Matriculation with Science, while Operation Theatre and Dental Attendants must hold relevant diplomas from the Sindh Medical Faculty.
Candidates for Aya/Dai, Ward Servant, Chowkidar, Naib Qasid, and Sanitary Worker roles must have passed middle school. The hospital will allocate 15 percent of appointments to women and reserve 5 percent for minority candidates.
Candidates must submit applications through a recognised courier company or Pakistan Post, addressed to the Medical Superintendent, Services Hospital & Civil Surgeon, Karachi. Applicants should apply for only one position and must use the proper channel if they are currently working in government departments.
