Iftikhar Gillani directed all government departments to improve service delivery and enhance field performance during a high-level meeting of government secretaries in Muzaffarabad on 28 October. The official instructed departments to prioritise the redressal of public complaints.
To ensure transparency and efficiency in governmental affairs, Gillani stated, "Essential government services will soon be shifted online under a One-Window operation to ensure transparency and efficiency in governmental affairs." Modern technology must be used more frequently in official affairs to maintain transparency, Gillani ordered.
Public hospitals must have doctors and medical staff available around the clock, according to the instructions given to concerned authorities. Recruitments across all departments will be conducted in a transparent manner through a third party.
Providing quality education and employment opportunities to the youth is the need of the hour, Gillani said. The government plans to fully utilise TEVTA to provide technical and vocational training to the youth.
Special attention is being accorded to the tourism sector by the government.
