ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) The government has reduced fuel prices by up to Rs5, effective from February 16, 2025.

According to notification, petrol price has been reduced by Rs1 per litre for the next fortnight. The new price of petrol is Rs256.13.

In addition, the prices for kerosene and light diesel have been cut by up to Rs5 per litre. Kerosene will cost Rs171.65 per litre, while light diesel will be available at Rs155.81 per litre.

In light of recent fluctuations in the international oil market, the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) reviewed and adjusted consumer prices for petroleum products, the finance ministry stated.

Earlier, it was anticipated that petroleum products prices would see a reduction of up to Rs9 per litre
