Field Marshal and Trump meet to strengthen Pakistan-US ties, Bilawal Bhutto

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the meeting between Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and US President Donald Trump will strengthen Pakistan-US relations.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said in his statement on “X” that the meeting between Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and US President Donald Trump will be held today. This meeting is a positive step towards improvement in Pakistan-US relations.
He said the meeting was taking place at a time when Trump had played the role of mediator in the ceasefire, Pakistan had achieved a decisive victory against India in the five-day war.
Foreign Minister Sawiq further said that India unfortunately rejected peace efforts and US diplomacy. Pakistan neither seeks conflict nor begs for negotiation. We recognize that peace is in the interest of both countries.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that there is no military solution to our conflicts. India’s policy of weaponizing water resources and oppression in Kashmir are unacceptable.
He added that India’s politicization of terrorism is also an unacceptable attitude. The way forward is only possible through honest diplomacy, not through denial and procrastination.
