We are grateful to allies for playing a key role in the passage of the budget: PM
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that he is grateful to the coalition parties for playing an important role in the passage of the budget. We all have to work day and night to take Pakistan’s economy on the path of development.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met members of the Senate and National Assembly after the passage of the budget.
He told members that the economic team worked day and night to prepare the people-friendly budget. This budget was drawn up in consultation with all our constituent parties, which represents the aspirations of the people. The coalition parties played a major role in the passage of the budget, for which we are deeply grateful.
He said that it is now our duty to work day and night to strengthen Pakistan’s economy. I believe that this ideal unity will lead Pakistan on the path of economic development.
He said that during India’s recent unwarranted aggression on Pakistan, Allah Almighty granted us a glorious victory. The Pakistan Army, the entire political leadership, the people, civil society and the media unitedly thwarted the nefarious ambitions of the enemy. This victory of Pakistan raised the prestige of our country in the world.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the diplomatic delegation led by Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari clarified Pakistan’s position and exposed India’s evil intentions against Pakistan to the world.
The Prime Minister said that not only the diplomatic delegation was welcomed at the international level but the Overseas Pakistani Desert also gave a warm welcome to the delegation and paid tribute to the Government and Armed Forces of Pakistan for its diplomatic and military success.
He said that during the recent Israeli aggression on Iran, Pakistan expressed solidarity with the Iranian government and brotherly people at all levels. The Pakistani leadership, especially President Dr. Masood Pazshkian, remained in close touch during the war. A peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Iranian conflict would open doors to peace and prosperity in the region.
A large number of members of the Chairman Senate, the Federal Cabinet, the Senate and the National Assembly attended the meeting.
