More rains forecast in the country, meteorological department issues alert
LAHORE (Web Desk): The Meteorological Department has predicted more rains and strong winds across the country.
According to the report, rains are expected in different parts of the country from August 14 to 17, while torrential rains are expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan from August 18 to 21.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain and thunderstorms are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Islamabad.
Experts have warned that low-lying areas could be submerged and there is also a risk of landslides in mountainous areas.
The Meteorological Department has directed the agencies concerned to ensure safety measures in advance.
