The ANF MATRC Centre is one of five rehabilitation facilities operating under Sindh government support. Gabol’s visit underscored the commitment of the provincial administration to combatting narcotics, emphasizing the role these centres play in providing comprehensive treatment and vocational training.

Following his inspection of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed ANF MATRC Centre, Gabol proceeded to the newly established DIGP South Drug Screening Centre in Kalakot. This centre was set up in collaboration with Sindh Police and aims to support individuals suffering from drug addiction through a rehabilitation strategy.

Speaking on the occasion, Nadir Gabol reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eliminating narcotics from the province. He stated that the rehabilitation centre in Lyari would play a vital role in treating and rehabilitating drug-dependent youth, enabling them to become productive members of society. Gabol further emphasized the importance of providing quality healthcare, psychological counselling, social reintegration, and vocational training to ensure successful reintroduction into society.

The DIGP South Drug Screening Centre is part of an ongoing initiative by the Sindh government to address drug addiction through comprehensive rehabilitation strategies. The centre’s objectives include screening individuals for drug use, offering treatment options, and facilitating their return to a productive life within the community.
