Civil Lines Division also witnessed a notable number of incidents with 14 bicycle thefts and 18 cattle thefts. These figures highlight the widespread nature of the problem across different parts of Lahore city.

The police have not yet provided any specific reasons for these increases in crime rates, but local residents attribute it to various factors including inadequate security measures and economic pressures faced by many families.

Local community leaders are urging the authorities to take immediate action to address the issue. A spokesperson from the Cantt Division stated, 'We need more resources and manpower to tackle this problem effectively.'

The rise in theft cases has also prompted discussions about public safety initiatives. Residents have called for increased surveillance and better lighting in residential areas to deter potential thieves.
