  • Gold prices increased by Rs. 400 to reach Rs. 425,436 per tola.
  • International gold prices rose $4 to settle at $4,030 per ounce.
  • Silver prices fell by Rs. 134 to close at Rs. 6,155 per tola.

Gold prices in Pakistan have risen for the second consecutive day, with the price of gold per tola increasing by Rs. 400 to settle at Rs. 425,436 on Thursday. This follows a rise of Rs. 900 to close at Rs. 425,036 per tola on Wednesday.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported that the price of 10 grams of gold also saw an increase, rising by Rs. 434 to reach Rs. 364,742. These figures reflect a continued upward trend in precious metal prices within the country.

In the international market, gold prices recorded another small increase, gaining $4 to settle at $4,030 per ounce. This global movement has likely influenced local markets and contributed to the rise observed in Pakistan.

Silver prices, however, saw a decrease of Rs. 134, closing at Rs. 6,155 per tola on Thursday. The fluctuation between gold and silver prices highlights the dynamic nature of precious metal trading.

The increase in gold prices could be attributed to various factors including investor sentiment, global economic conditions, and local demand for jewelry and investment purposes. Traders and consumers are advised to monitor these fluctuations closely as they can impact financial planning and purchasing decisions.

Market analysts suggest that the rise in gold prices may continue if underlying economic indicators remain positive or if geopolitical tensions escalate further. However, a decline is also possible depending on global market trends and local consumer behavior.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association advises its members to stay informed about these changes as they can significantly affect their business operations and customer preferences.
