The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has announced the schedule for the 27th Engineering Practice Examination (EPE) Fall 2026. The exam is set to take place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, and will be conducted as a computer-based test.

According to PEC, the examination is aimed at registered engineers who wish to apply for the title of Professional Engineer (PE). The exam will be held in various cities across Pakistan, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Swat, Dera Ismail Khan, Karachi, Hyderabad/Jamshoro, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Quetta, Gwadar, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad AJK.

Eligible candidates must have graduated on or after January 15, 2008. Additionally, they need to possess at least five years of practical experience in the relevant engineering field following their PEC registration. The exam requires a minimum of 17 CPD points, with up to 10 from work experience and 7 from other categories.

PEC has also stated that candidates who previously appeared for the 24th, 25th, or 26th EPE but were unsuccessful in one part are eligible to apply again. The exam fee is Rs. 5,000 for both parts of the test and Rs. 2,500 for a single part, with bank charges included.

Interested candidates can apply online through the PEC CPD portal, where detailed information about the exam format, syllabus, study material, and guidelines are available. The last date to apply is August 15, 2026.
